Dream House. and lots of FOOD.

So, we went to Tagaytay yesterday to check out some places, and get updated on my dad's projects (he's a contractor/civil engineer, if you guys must know). We also checked out a friend's rest house which is not really done yet, but so far, it looks AH-MAY-ZING. :) So, being the shutterbug that I am, I took some photos for you guys to see.

Before going to see the house, my brother just had to climb the tractor lying around in my dad's road project.

and I'm glad to report that he had a hard time going down :))))))

Front porch of the house.
It's surrounded by trees and you get this feeling or serenity, I love it. :)

So, my brothers and cousins just had to run around in the unfinished pool. :))

Loving this brick wall, so rustic. :)

Oh, the shadow play, I'm just in love with this house. :)))

After, the long walk back to the car, it was lunch time! And, when in Tagaytay it's a MUST to try the food at JOSEPHINE RESTAURANT. The waiting line may be long, but it is well worth it. The food they serve has a home-cooked feel to it, which is why it draws in many patrons.

*To avoid long waiting lines/time, you can go there for an early lunch or a brunch, if you're lucky you'll be seated right away. (Around 10-11AM) You can also choose if you want to have a lunch buffet,  where they serve Filipino food for 400+ pesos/pax and you get a Php100 discount if you don't have leftovers :)

Mutya ng Cavite Soup (their interpretation of a Seafood Chowder)

Josephine Fried Chicken (a staple if you have smaller siblings who love fried stuff) :)

Grilled Assorted Seafood

and lots mooooore. (See: Samu't-saring Sinugba, Fried/Krispy Kare-Kare, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Lumpiang Sariwa & Lumpiang Shanghai)

To check out their menu, go to their website.

One more thing that makes me want to go back to this restaurant is their amazing view of the Taal Volcano which can be seen from the restaurant.

Study Time.

Sooooo, instead of studying I'm doing this. hahahahaha but yeah, I need "rest" from studying for a quiz I have tomorrow.

My temporary "work station"

FB-ing :)) (add me up!)

and Tweet-ing :)) (follow me!)

aaaaah, sweet sweet procrastination, that I will surely regret later =))

but on a side note, I AM almost done studying.

This is the last one and I just can't seem to find the determination to finish =)))

I'm studying for a Trigonometry quiz tomorrow, by the way. =))

Gotta love being an engineering student...and all the math that comes with it.

Celebrating New Year's in Tagaytay.

My first post...yay!
To get away from the noise, the smoke, and all the "pulbura", we went to Tagaytay to have a relaxing and peaceful New Year's.
On our first day, we stopped over at SOLENAD to eat lunch and just to "osyoso" the place because it looked like Eastwood City in Libis...but less crowded and there were no skyscrapers around.

Conti's for lunch.

Had a mini-photo shoot while waiting for our food to arrive.

Nuvali.
My brother just loooooves posing for the camera. =))

I don't know if they're goldfishes or koi fishes. =)))
